Not so cheap, but cheaper. I've had no problems with my two 7AMP ones, I'll give this one a shot.

I was just asking about this compressor. Thanks and keep us updated on the longevity.
My 20+ year old 5 hp 20 gallon Devilbiss just won't die but it has lost some of it's omph. Barely got some bearings and ball joints replaced recently.
It has got to die before the wife signs off on a new one.

Will do. My first oil-less compressor so we'll see. So far so good and really impressed with the build quality for the money.

I don't have an issue with their stuff, it's just if it is something I have to use often or rely on then I'll go for a more quality tool or product. I was just talking to a friend of mine and the cyclone dust collector I made for him about 5 years ago using their 1HP motor is still going strong. I think I put that together for under $200. I also built an air filter using their ventilator around the same time and same thing, he only needs to change the filters and he says that it handles his woodshop with no problems. I can't remember what they were going for at the time, going the DIY route was much cheaper then Grizzly or Woodcraft and was a fun project.

I want to start building a decent tool kit to keep in the truck so I stopped in at HF today to do a little shop-looking (somehow I actually got out of there without buying anything).

I spent some time looking at the new Icon stuff and even though half of the shelf was empty they had some display stuff out that looks really nice. The ratchets seemed on par with the Snap-on stuff we have at work. I can't speak to the internals but just general feel they seemed solid. Not sure I want to spend that kind of money on truck tools that I expect to end up in the dirt, Pittsburgh Pro will be just fine for that but I might start filling the empty spaces in my tool box with Icon tools in the future.

Are these the Daytona Long Reach Low Profile? 24-1/4” max height.
Looks like most reviews are for the Super Duty.

I realize you posted this question last yr but from my little research, it looks like the Daytona Low Profile Long Reach has the highest maximum lift height of 24-1/4". Did you find out anything new with this? currently HB has it for $169. Maybe I'll wait a month or so for Black Friday.

How are you liking the Long reach Jack so far?

Picked up a few <$10 items today using the 30% coupon. Sprang for a sweet pair of Doyle pliers even though they are excluded from most coupons.

Wanted to get some more Icon sockets using the Icon coupon but of course they were sold out of the set the coupon was for.

My UPS guy left me a love note when I had my Warn winch delivered to my 3rd floor apartment (no elevator) instead of work by accident
