Just finished installing a winch power disconnect that has been sitting on my toolbox for a while now.

Washed and waxed yesterday in preparation for brutal northern GA winters. Heck, we could get two week of frost. :taco:

I used a new wax and sealer, Torque Mirror Shine.

Not an upgrade, or a maintenance thing, but my damn Retrofits starting acting up today. I washed my truck yesterday which may have lead to this, but I've obviously washed my truck before and everything was fine. On the way to class this morning I noticed that one of my headlights wouldn't turn off. So, I turned my lights off and on again a few times which usually does the trick, but of course, since its Monday and I have a mid term today that didn't fix the issue. So, not wanting my truck to die while I'm in class for 2 hours with a headlight on, I went to O'reillys to borrow a 10mm to unplug the battery. This didn't solve the problem and the headlight was still on when I plugged the battery back in. So, I just unplugged the ballast from that headlight. I put everything back together, got ready to leave, and now my other headlight won't turn off!!! Moral of the story, I unplugged both of my headlights..... I will be calling @TRSJimmy or somebody from the retrofit source later to see what the issue is. This being my daily driver, and that fact that I work til 11pm, I hope I can just unplug everything, dry anything if its needed, add some grease for protection and it works. Or I'm stuck with no headlights. At least I have Rigid Industries Sae Selective yellow lights that are bright AF, but I still want my headlights. Okay, rant over.

Over the weekend... took it in for an alignment job and got it washed. Then relocated my air compressor to an ammo can and mounted it to the bed rail.

    air_compressor_02.jpg

Then modified my on board solar shower from pressurized to electric pump. Pressurized work great, but I was tired of having to pull out the air hose and turn on the compressor to use it. Now I just flip a switch and pull the pray handle. Makes hosing the dog off quicker too.

I did the same, but mounted it in the bed with 2 pieces of wood for using as a base if needed.
I did have my jack the same place as yours but over time it will leak fluid. Hydraulic bottle jacks should be stored upright to prevent this. Luckily I had it wrapped in a towel so it wouldn’t make any noise and it soaked up the hydraulic fluid.

Thanks for the info. Will add it to my projects parts list. Luckily I have small heated shop in the backyard so I can paint it this winter.

Finally came up with a mounting solution for my FJ40 mud flaps this weekend. A little flat bar aluminum and some stainless hardware did the trick. Also trimmed the stock flaps off to use as a trim piece
