    Base insurance through ICBC and optional through 3rd party. My replacement insurance is through a third party. I am considering looking at option through a third party. By you are correct about only 1 insurer. Only one group to deal with.

    those warnings are overstated. i felt safer getting tacos in tijuana than i do in some parts of san diego.

    If you had a loan on the vehicle then you must have had full coverage insurance, with that, how was your wife not on the policy?
    Even without a license, she is a member of the immediate family of yours and should be covered I thought?
