Yup, MT owners are control freaks. The other day I was turning left at a stoplight, it turns green and there is a very steep hill to climb so I mash the throttle and take the rpms to over 4k in 1st gear and then smoothly and flawlessly shift into 2nd gear just as I crest the hill.

In city driving I get rolling in 1st and quickly shift to 2nd and then pretty much leave it in 2nd or just downshift to 1st for a stop sign. So very little shifting required but i have the option of shifting to 3rd at times so save on fuel, but I usually don't bother.
