OVTune 3.5L Tacoma Supercharger and Twin Turbo Systems

Same here, but not surprised either. I'm quite happy to hear that the TT kit(s) are being tested because I want one badly. Hoping they'll be available by early Spring, personally. Not trying to do an install in winter since I can't get my truck all the way in my garage.

 

From the way it sounded, turbos were still a pretty long way away where as the s/c may be this year.

 

so who is the lucky one that picked up the SC that Mat posted was up for taking for a 2018 or newer current Tune user? Someone has to spill the beans. Turd Hawg was going all in and made the decision to hold off. Surely someone must know. If I had it for sure I'd be all over it with pics and install posts. Not me as my old 2016 is not a candidate, yet.

 

The last thing I saw was that whoever bought itndidnt meet qualifications and he was still looking

It’s not a real Atkinson engine. Matt has already turned off the simulated Atkinson cycle for the manual transmission users and they can now have full Otto cycle

 

If I remember correctly the engines are a non interference so valve contact can't happen regardless of timing

 

Exactly. So I’m assuming Mat will make any adjustment necessary to the simulated Atkinson via VVT tuning. It should be pretty straight forward and nothing to worry about.

 

Wouldn't it be great if people at least read OVTunes posts and blogs...

No prob......I didn't know about it either until someone else mentioned it awhile back. Pretty cool feature.

 

someone is going to get butt hurt if you don't start talking boost! Just saying. And it is not me. Boost. Need more boost. TT or SC. Just add the word BOOST to your conversation and everything will be fine.
