Guess I'm pulling to hard on my knee trying to gain more ROM . Pulled my bandages off and noticed some small blood stains on the gauze . I could feel some of the staples being pulled on during my PT sessions

When I have PT tomorrow I will inform him so he can enter it into my records and he'll inform my doctor . Staples as of now are scheduled to be removed this Friday

That was 15 miles from the closest town. When we got to that town we seen a state trooper rolling code in that direction. Pretty sure it was cooking the asphalt before any fire assets got there.

That's usually the case around here too...never close enough. Lots of crispy craters in the asphalt from RV fires

Well, that certainly makes sense, thanks Chief. So glad you and pup took some time to chase birds and rejuvenate yourselves.

    Glad your journey was safe.

:sorry: Guess I should be thankful for these 40° temps and on/off rain ... but I hate long rain spells; 7 years in England left a mark. o_O

interstate 90 is closed/detoured to the west of me. and highway 287 sw of me is closed as the mountain pass is too slick to get up right now. both major trucking routes through the area.

its not a heavy snow per se. with all the drifting its hard to say what has fallen but i'd guess maybe just 2 or 3 inches. right now the worst part is that the ground is still kinda warm and the first part of the storm melts as it lands on the roads. wet pavement cools down, more snow falls, it sticks and it all turns to ice. once the ground is frozen over for the winter snow is more likely to just land and not stick. or at least not as bad as it can with these early snows. we get a couple of storms like this every year. now the below zero temp thats predicted tonight....really unusual. below zero is more of a january/february thing.
i do remember several Halloweens while growing up when i had to trudge through the snow and over snow burms to get to a house. costumes were always made/purchased a couple sizes too big so that i could fit a snow suit underneath. with the weather as it is i don't plan on getting any halloween candy this year. there wont be that many kids out.
