    The amp is for a PA speaker. Some CB radios allow you to key the mic to output to a PA speaker to talk LOUDLY outside of the vehicle, but only push a few watts. The PA speaker is a large external bullhorn-like speaker you use (like this one

    A PA is super useful when the kids are running around at camp "COME HOME FOR DINNER" or if someone's lost "CAMP IS THIS WAY! BOB, CAN YOU HEAR ME?" or just for fun.

    This is completely different than the speaker you linked... That is for the output from the inbound comms from someone else talking over the air on the CB.
