    Whole lotta stuff
I agree, I was being picky when I was researching the big three, King, Fox, Icon. Really came down to the quality of ADS hardware, the price to performance, and I like the finish.

I ordered the hose for a TRD intake that has that
And I’m using that tube pre MAF

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Question for those running fiberglass bedsides. Are glass bedsides strong enough to run a Roof Top Tent and rack, and tool boxes?

    Pic for refrence.

Absolutely not. But I'm running just glass, no bed. Very fragile.

I would not risk it on the glass. Make sure everything ties in and bolts to the bed bolts that go to the frame and you will be fine.

Nope. You will need to make the stuff bolt directly to the metal sub structure.

As said previously, removing the bedsides greatly reduces the rigidity in the bed, but to make my bed rails probably a little stiffer than they were from the factory, I fit some 1x1 tube in there. I'll tie it into the bottom of the bed at the ends when I design my bed rack system. I wouldn't do much more than a soft topper with a few light tools somehow mounted on them, and as @SanClemTaco said the plan would be for me to make a beefier bed rack that ties into the frame with probably 1.5/1.75" tube if I turn to the dark side and buy a tent.

I ran a RTT with a rack this summer. Bought some starboard strips to distribute weight and take up the space missing from bed caps being removed.
I wouldn’t smash the dunes or shred the gnar like that but it held up fine.

First gen bedsides are spot welded on and kind of surround the top of the bed rail which makes it way weaker when they're removed - the remaining sheetmetal isn't as durable as 2nd gen composite.

Seaboard? Is that the 2nd gen bed composite material?

I like this idea a lot. Could make a cradle around the bed to really strengthen it up.

I tried the pipe method first and no go. So I cut them then I was about to take to a shop and hit them in a touch while they sat on a socket with a sledge. Then turned them over and just unloaded on it a few times and out she came.

Nope, like others have said, make a tent frame that mounts to the bottom of the bed. Here is what I did on my truck. The front of the rack ties into my bed cage, and the back half mounts to a factory d-ring location. I go wheeling with the tent all the time, and have flexed the truck pretty good.
