Did this last night as well sans banana. Did the oats, pumpkin, cinnamon, nilla extract, maple syrup and milk. Was ok. Texture was weird. maybe needed a splash more water. May try again for breakfast tomorrow

I eat oats, chopped up apple, sliced banana, cinnamon, & milk for breakfast. I eat it like cereal. It’s Super good

I’m not too sure about all this pumpkin & whip cream stuff. Some of Jeff’s stuff, maybe you shouldn’t mimic lol

You guys can have all the oats in the world. Shit is nasty.

I like eggs, cheese, sausage, sometimes bacon.

I went to the store for bacon yesterday. $10.99/lb for uncured. Who the fuck pays that!?
    I left with sausage instead.

Wow that's insane. Around here it's usually between $3-5 depending on the sale or not. Typically $5 a lb though is very common. I always wait for those huge deals to scoop up a bunch, lol.

Yes. The normal cured shit was 2/$7 but I prefer not to get cancer.

    Avocados were 2/$5.

    Fuck all that.

I just wait till shit goes on sale. I’m not buying it at that price.

Yeah I’ll be paying attention and stock up when its on sale.
I want to find a good butcher that does an uncured pork belly I can have them slice. The thick cut at the store is still way too thin. I like thick bacon.
But I’m spoiled because my sister raises pigs and she gets her stuff butchered way better than the store stuff.
Like try a 2 inch think pork porterhouse and lean meaty bacon :9

I've really been slacking off. I need to get my life together. Any of you guys ever heard of Andy Frisella's 75 Hard challenge? It consists of (2) 45 minute workouts / day, not cheating on a diet for 75 days (for me IIFYM), no alcohol for 75 days, and drinking a gallon of water per day. I did it earlier this year and got down to 10-12% bf but it burnt me out. I'm having a tough time getting motivated again.

I have not heard of him but want to listen to his podcasts after looking him up.

When I first started having GI issues from my autoimmune condition a few years back I was having horrible pain with all different foods and I could not figure out what was up (I was given a low dose opioid for pain).
I said fuck it I have to take control of my life.
I read nonstop about immunology, allergies, intolerances and nutrition.
I went on a strict elimination diet which did included no alcohol and was diligent about my exercise for 90 days.

I not only was able to figure out some of the foods that did not agree with me and I’m able to avoid them now, but I also found out how much of my nutrition tendencies I changed.
I went from drinking a decent amount of diet soda to not being able to tolerate the artificial sweeteners. I went from cream and stevia in my coffee to black (don’t like anything but black now) I can’t stand sweetened tea. Pasta no longer agrees with me.

It was like a switch. You stay away from shit long enough and you don’t enjoy it anymore and you actually expose nutritional intolerances that are there but you aren’t aware of.
You feel like shit long enough to you thats normal. Take the shit out and you finally realize how bad it made you feel. That becomes motivation to change your life. When something makes you feel like shit you don’t want to eat it so eliminating certain foods doesn’t generate that feeling of deprivation.

So I’d take his plan up a notch by stating you need to be on a processed food free diet. I think you gain better nutritional control. But maybe most people would need to do that in like round 2.

This is likely a great program for people who want to have a particular physique but struggle with the lifestyle habit change to get there.

Thanks for sharing that I want to read his stuff and listen to his podcasts!
