2wd BS and SoCal meet ups and Tacoma fun

damn man, really? I thought everyone's got the BFG K02's! so I'm better off with Nitto? terra or ridge grapplers?

 

I would say so... it used to be the go to tire, but in the past few years they have had several issues and lots of warranty tires that I have seen on here.

honestly I was trying nothing of the sort. I suspect that my deodorant may not have strong enough.

Ridge is a more aggressive tread than the Trail Grappler. Here are 34" Ridge Grapplers

I like them, pretty noisy at speed due to the aggressive tread. Haven't had them in snow (2wd, duh). Love the look of them. And they've held up to my crazy driving pretty well without any punctures or gashes

 

ah man, noisy? at what speeds?

 

Some growl at all speeds, turns into a howl at highway speeds. They're only a half step away from being mud terrains, physics won't allow them to be OEM quiet

 

KO2 installed with no issues balancing or other problems thus far.

I'd be in to get in on some 2wd action! Pretty new to everything, mainly just have been doing little BLM trails to take me to some campsites. I'm in the Long Beach/Lakewood area.
