OEM heated seats

Do the heated seats recall the last setting used regardless of time elapsed?

Ex: If you turn on your heated seats the night before, then shut off your truck, do they come on when you start up the truck the next morning?

 

I wish I had those. Mines is a 2018, you would think it would come standard. Smh

 

Yes. My wife loves to turn the heated seats on and leave them on so when I get in I get the swass before I realize the seat heater is on.

 

I'm not sure if there is a time limit of sorts, but if I have the heated seats on, then turn off the truck, they are on by "default" when I start again. Longest between drives has been 2 days for me with that being the case

I have them in mine but i wish i had air conditioned seats instead. Its too hot here in Hawaii so I never use them. My wife does though. She said it helps with back aches.

Yeah my friends lexus has heated & air conditioning seats. So awesome! Is it extra for the heated seats for the tacoma?

 

Yes, whatever setting the seat is set to when the truck is shut off, will be the setting when the truck restarts. They will stay that setting until you change it.

I wish they timed out like the door mirror heaters.

 

My F150 does not time out either and I found it annoying coming from BMW... but with Tacoma not timing out, you could turn on the seats the day before then remote start the next morning.

 

It was included in the Prem and Tech package on the 2016 Sport.
