Good, try to break into the glovebox. The longer they spend in my truck, the better the chances I'll catch them, and I will solve that drug problem for them. If I catch them in my truck, I'll be saving taxpayers some money.

lock your doors and they will spend even more time around your truck or non at all. Chances are you wont find them rummaging in your truck.

In Phoenix most of them just check for unlocked doors and quickly move on if they're locked.

Thats was my point for the people who keep their trucks unlocked above.

Now only if they made a car alarm that's similar to a Ring door bell so you can talk to the person as he's rummaging thru your vehicle

A few additions to make me feel cool.
About 10 years ago I was visiting my in laws for Christmas. At the time I was stationed in SoCal and lived on base so I never locked the truck. I parked on the street at my in-laws and from habit I guess I left it unlocked. The next morning I came out a little hungover and noticed that a bunch of crap that was in my console was on the ground laying in the snow. I was like man that is weird and then it hit me that someone had been in the truck. They took some sunglasses, a multi-tool, cash and some other crap but also took my radio remote. No damage was done to the truck. I made a big sign and planted it in the front yard and thanked them for not damaging my truck in the process of robbing me. I stated that it was almost Christmas so they should feel free to keep the cash, sunglasses and multi-tool but requested that they return the remote as they had no use for it. Everyone laughed and was like "okay, that's going to happen". The next morning I came out and sure enough the remote was sitting on the hood. I could not believe it but it worked out I guess.

That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking of installing. A small interior camera that can capture good video so police can recognize faces would help catch a lot of criminals.

Or a setting with a blaring alarm or siren to get them the hell out of the truck.

Whoa wait...626 area? You go to the 24hr Fitness in Arcadia by chance?

I go to the one in Monrovia but used to go to the Arcadia one until it got way too crowded all the time. I always worry about this happening in the Monrovia parking lot one because it's in a shadier area of the city.

    Sorry to hear

Thanks, I moved a little further east in Glendora. That Arcadia one is stupid crowded. I thought Glendora would be a safe area. Most my neighbors still leave their cars unlocked at night. Just surprising it happened.

I don't know about 3rd Gens, but someone broke one of my windows and emptied out my truck a few years ago. The alarm didn't make a peep.

I don't want your stupid truck, I want whatever I can steal out of it that I can see through the window.

why do people leave cash in truck? I see it all the time at my shop just money laying all over for thieves to see. I never leave any cash or even change in my truck.
