Are you an Alabama native?

 

I lived for 5 years in Madison (8th thru 12th grade) when I first moved over from Australia in the 90's, then lived there again in Huntsville for almost 2 years when I married an Alabama maniac up there. I got out of that mess (marriage) many years ago now, but my kids live in Huntsville.

So that's why I'm always hassling the Alabama crowd. hahahah

I've never supported any particular team, but I'd always take the dick-side of the argument when someone would Roll Tide or War Eagle. hahaha

 

What school did you go to while you lived in Madison?

 

8th grade was Monrovia, then high school was Bob Jones, class of 97

 

Definitely graduated before my time. But I went to school at Monrovia Middle and graduated from Sparkman. Class of 11.

 

Cool. A high school friend of mine is an English teacher at Sparkman, Renee Quaife.

 

you ought to come on back to be with your kids....and us. HSV is a great place.

 

I recognize the name. My wife probably knows her. She works up there part time as a school nurse.

already been tried by someone in south huntsville.

the pit stop or something like that down here was a DIY garage, rent space/tools as needed. semi like the garage out on the arsenal, but less successful. it closed down and is now like a place that sells sheds lol

 

I've seen it done in Washington state when I lived up there. It worked, but kind of needs to be staffed so that you can rent out whatever is needed.
