    Does the OR have different recovery hooks than the Sport? I have a Sport and don’t recognize that hook.

    Yes, that's why people want them. This bolts on the pass side kind of mirror image from where the tie down loop is on drivers side. More stout for recovery. Bolts up to any Taco but only OR / Pro comes with it from factory.
