It also is going to depend on the style headlight you retro into and the shrouds used. 1st gens have smaller headlights compared to second gen so there's less surface to heat up. 3rd gens have more headlight towards the grill that doesn't see any heat unless you're running the highs.

The mounts will be ready ‘early this week’ and everything will be sent out shortly after, so it really will depend on how fast the shipping method is. I’ll have a tracking number though once shipped to give an ETA. Not sure if those are the mounts ready for general sale, or just the first ones off the production line.

I pulled the trigger on the preorder for the lights themselves, they arrive Friday.

Nice! Yellow or white? I usually get the very first of the preorders, but this time it is possible others get theirs a couple days before me since mine are waiting on the mount kit.

Mine arrive Friday as well. Of course my bumper is off getting powder coated so it'll be a couple of weeks until I get them mounted up.

So I read through the initial post and wanted to say Thanks for all the info. Looks like I want to either go with the KC G4's or the Rigid D-Series 504813. I just put those Rigid on my Tundra and the light output is crazy.

Since I didn't want to read through 70 pages, are these 2 still considered the "best". Any other options that have since come out that I should look at. Anyone compared these to the Toyota LED fogs ( PT413-42191 )? Surprised how cheap they are, so I worry how good they are.

    Thanks..!

There's been a lot of excitement about the new rigid 360 SAE fogs that start shipping this week. Crash hasn't gotten his yet to test but a lot of folks are really excited about how they look on paper. I'm about to order a set today!

Do you have a link to these? Will they be a direct replacement or will you still need a mount kit?

Latest I've heard they're still working on the mount kit, @crashnburn80 has been in touch with rigid about the details. I have a plate bumper so personally I haven't been looking into the mounts because they'll bolt right up for me.

The last several pages of this thread are pretty much exclusively discussion on the new 360 SAE. LOTS of information

All the updates with new light releases are linked at the very top of the original thread post, including the Toyota fogs. Here are the Toyota LED fogs in post #733. Rigid SAE D-series and KC white are both significantly higher output and larger area coverage.

The new Rigid 360s are on paper the highest output fogs yet. The SAE D-series is 1760 raw lumens, the 360s are 3100 raw lumens. They will be direct fit in the OEM location using a mount kit to 3rd Gen. 12-15 2nd Gen should fit with minor modification to the mount. Here was the image posted earlier. The D-series white was very high in color temp, the KC G4s had a much better (lower) color temp than Rigid's white. The new 360s have improved (lowered) the white color temp, but I doubt it will match the KCs. For use in poor weather conditions, I recommend the selective yellow color option. You can see the comparison for the D-series in post #261 here, also linked at the top of the thread: Rigid Selective Yellow.

Awesome, Thanks for that info. Interested to see what those new Rigid 360 are going to run compared to the KC G4. The Toyota LEDs aren't bad for the price, but I think I'd rather spend a little more to better output. I think I'm leaning towards the KC G4 right now, simply since they are full plug and play and do not need any kind of mount kit. KC has them on sale right not at $283, are there any other good places to check out for pricing?

Summit has them for the same price plus $25 off with coupon code: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/kcc-500/

Plus the mount kit, which I haven't seen any info on pricing yet.
