I'm pretty sure there is an adapter available. Not sure about your rig.

Ok, mine stock you can’t. One thing I’m really looking forward to from an Atlas.

this was going to be my suggestion.

You can do it with an adapter plate. Then its just a flat belly setup. Be super easy to add a small skid to protect it.

and even if you can't do a stock clock(pretty certain you can) just get a crawl box. I think @jubei has one you can borrow :p

I really don't think anyone makes one, unless you're going to a dual case setup.

So going with an Atlas? That'll be awesome!

apparently Bud Built makes a ring for clocking the stock tcase. Not on their site but I think a phone call will get you one.

Tossed a 1" driveshaft spacer on. Getting more play in my slip joint, I think mainly due to it being over extended. Don't think it helps that I didn't realize the zerk wasn't getting any grease to it either, just piling it up in the bottom.

May get my spare driveshaft lengthened and retubed if I want a permanent solution.

Just a quick RT run this year. Snuck in the back way to Arches and played touron for a bit. Then knocked out BTR and Kane Creek. Took all of 2 pictures, so here's a couple from @Zizzle of me dropping White Knuckle.

Last I heard pearl was closed all year from an avalanche burying the road. We've already had enough snow in CB to close it for this winter anyways.

Any tips for someone doing coil bucket gussets Brett? And did you pull the rack completely to pull the LCA's? I have seen that I can likely get away without doing so.

Yeah, I never head that it opened either. First year since 2015 I didn't drive that road, so will need to hit next year for sure.

And now we're definitely done with high country wheeling for the season.

All the rear bumper. Even kissed my swingout/gas can, which I don't think I've done before.

Don't know of anyone with a 2nd gen with those fenders up here. :notsure:

Take your time to get the fit up right. Also, try to leave just a smidge of additional gap. Put the sleeve in, one washer, and then leave like 1/16" of an inch. I though I had it right, but they ended up too tight against the bushings. I'm just guessing on the gap, but it should allow you to slide the UCA in easier, and it will still tighten up just fine when you torque down the bolt. Also, you can't have too much grease on the outside flange of the bushings that go against the gussets. You can't really get grease there once they're mounted.

You don't have to pull the rack entirely to pull the LCAs, but you do need to pull all the mounting bolts. You can leave the lines and steering shaft connected, and just support it with a jack stand.

Awesome, as always thanks man. I imagine the install is the same with my new ICON uca's vs the TC ones. Of course TC says otherwise but I would imagine all the uniball tubular uca's are the same really.

Yes, unless the bushing is wider. :notsure:

Although, you should do what I wish I did from the start, and return those Icon's, and get some TC heimed uppers. Way more adjustability, and would allow you to solid mount the lowers. Plus no bushing issues with the coilbucket gussets.

I second this, heimed is the way to go and way less maintenance (and noise) than bushings and dealing with grease everywhere. I’m 3 years in on the same set of heims and they are just starting to get some slop.

I got the Icon's for the delta joints really. With all the salt our roads see, and seeing people replace uniballs yearly is what motivated my decision to go to the delta joint setup.
