I am on the fence. I am trying to help my buddy get his single cab finished to go with.

Whats up Cinci TW! I'm going to be in the area for a few days in 2 weeks seeing some friends and am going to have some time to kill on saturday 11/9. Thought I'd see if anyone wants to meet up and grab a drink or bit to eat(ideally a dog friendly place as I'll have my 2 pups with me on the trip) around lunch time?

I'm familiar with Cincinnati Chili, looking forward to eating it a couple times while I'm in town. Lived there for ~10 years but I've been in Tx for the past 11 yrs. I can leave my dogs at my buddy's that I'm staying with so I dont have to bring them out with me.

Here's a list or restaurants that allow you to bring your pups! Two that aren't mentioned here that will allow them on the patio are Flipdaddys and Little Miami Brewing Co.

Down in pigeon forge they were just barely starting to change. Up in the mountains it was on like donkey Kong. I’ll post some pics of our hike to grotto falls and such

After eating at the Trailhead Steak and Trout House and seeing Townsend, I'll never stay in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge again. Townsend is nicknamed "the quiet side of the smokies" plus it's by the closest entrance to Cades Cove!

I’ve got a cabin booked in Hot Springs, NC for the weekend after Thanksgiving. It’s about 45 minutes from Asheville and an hour and 20 minutes from Gatlinburg. I’m not thrilled about the extra driving but it was significantly cheaper and it’ll be far less busy than staying near the other tourists. Oh and the cabin is on a creek that’s stocked with trout so I’m hoping it’s not too cold. I’m always up for fishing.

Townsend is badass! I go every April for the bronco celebration, yes I have an early bronco restored. Trailhead is also one of the best steaks I have had! Both are great choices

Hot Springs area can be cold that time of the year depending on what elevation the cabin is. My GF parents have a house in the area and I spend some time in the area. They got their first snow this weekend. If you are looking for things to see in the area, let me know.

So, what are the typical symptoms of a failing CV axle? I’ve noticed my truck has started making a very faint vibration from one of the front wheels, only at certain speeds. I have the ECGS needle bearing replacement and this vibration feels very similar to what I felt before that was installed. Also, when I turn my steering wheel to the right (and hit any kind of bump) I hear a click/clank type noise that sounds and feels like its coming from the front driver’s side wheel. I’m worried that my driver’s side CV axle is slowly starting to go out but wanted to get some opinions. Everything else in the front suspension has been replaced recently, only the axles are original and the truck has 116k miles on it, about 50k of which has been lifted.

I'm going to be in Cinci this weekend and have some time to kill Saturday. Anyone want to meet up and grab a drink and/or food on Saturday around lunch time? I havent been in cinci in 10+ years so I have no clue where to go. I'll be staying near Kings Island but am willing to drive anywhere for a good beer/food.

It’d be cool to get a group together for some wings and shit. I know a real good wing joint in northern Ky. It’s opening weekend for gun deer season in Ky so that’s where I’ll be till it gets dark or I take a deer or two. Whichever comes first
