You mean like a car battery or do you mean snow? Mine will hold something like nearly 400 lbs dispersed. Put a piece of plywood up there if you need to haul something. I thought for sure the Pace Edwards held more than that.

To be honest I have never tried to put more. I am talking buckets and concentrated loads. I have seen 25-30lbs being allowed but I wouldn't try much more.

Yea, I can see a concentrated load being a problem for sure. Even on mine. They are basically the same construction. But if it is a necessity then why not get some cheap bed bars and add a cheap roof top basket to them. Make it all portable.

I don't know, I think I would just prefer to have a hard top cover for now. I should be able to sell the Pace Edwards for the same price as a used OEM will cost me...so its no money out of pocket. Bed bars and a rack sounds like its going to cost me more.

Maybe try changing your For Sale add to a Want To Trade ad? I know if I had an OEM I would much rather have yours. And I still think you are underselling it. I bet those are more like a grand. Maybe you could trade if for a soft topper. Then you have a lot more room in the bed and the versatility of an open bed too. I haul trash to the dump instead of paying to have picked up so if I get a short bed I will need a soft topper. I want a long bed and a high rise cap on it but I fear I am going to be royally stupid and buy a new Pro. So Short bed. Or I might buy a 4Runner. I really liked my last one. Then I will buy a smaller trailer than the one I have to haul my trash to the dump. I have my eye on a POS boat and a decent trailer. The boat would be toast but the trailer is in good shape. Not sure what is involved in converting it though. I like the fact that it's narrower and longer than most trailers.

No ,and I couldn’t find my deer I shot with the bow Friday morning. Had a guy from United blood trackers come with a dog . We looked for about 7 hours and the deer stopped bleeding pretty quick . He says it’s probably fine . I’m sick over it ,would have been my best buck ever . Then Saturday night my truck was broken into and my bow and hunting gear were stolen . Good point on looking for a trade, I didn't think of that. Can you post trades on the 3rd gen marketplace or is it only sales?

Can't even like this post Bill! Bro, that fucking sucks big time. On both accounts! Damn. Will insurance cover the theft?

I once blood trailed one for a couple of hours. Not 7 but it was through a bottom of nothing but 12' tall briars I had to machete to get through. We ultimately had to use a coleman lantern to see the blood.

Now I don't even like the fact that I have to go to the back of the supermarket to get my meats! I keep tellin' them to move that shit to the front of the store! They don't listen!

The future is going to be very hideous then.

Would be nice to be able to traverse 3' of water when you want though without a snorkel.
