    My knee replacement has set off the TSA metal detectors a few times at LAX or Honolulu !!! .They've even asked me what's under the scar !!!!

    My brother goes through that. His current answer is "more scar."

    They've scoped him twice on his left and three times on his right. Total replacement of both is next on the agenda, but they're making him lose weight first.

    The VA has some strange guidelines for prosthetic limbs !! . While I was in the hospital recovering I met another vet recovering from an above knee amputation . He's fighting the VA over not allowing him to get a prosthetic leg . He is overweight plus his good leg had a knee replacement 10 years ago

    The VA said he has to hop on his good leg for 10 minutes to prove that he's eligible for the prosthetic leg . But being overweight and having a knee replacement he can destroy the good knee

    So now he's been in a wheelchair for over a year and is not happy
