    It was a low damp spot about 100' from the river. Water seeps pretty far into the banks. It's all mostly sand/silt/fine powder. The top of the low spot was just a few inches higher than the river flow line. Inexperienced operator. The ground showed plenty of sign it was wet but the guy operating didn't quite recognize the sign.

    Little bit of stacking wood under the tracks, little digging with my little 308E2 and a little pull and it tracked out.
