OH, heck - that is a DAMN good idea. Tape measure your height, and write it on some masking tape you can post by the door. We had a turtle top for a car (actually still have the darn thing), and it came in VERY handy. Not likely to need in the wild, but on the way there, good to know~

 

You need to get a small bottle and get away from the flux core. You will be so much happier. Heck it would last you years.

 

I have a small bottle, for over a year now. Even got a new spool of wire to utilize with it, just trying to use up what I had, also need to gauges yet.

 

Git ur dun. I keep flux core in my rod oven for welding outside when needed it has its place.

 

Will look into it, would really like a longer welding lead, it is so short always need to pull the box around.​

 

All my wire welderS have extended leads. If ya set the roller tension correctly you will not have a problem.

 

Where do you find longer leads, and are they universal for use?

 

What gun you have on your welder now?

 

It’s a cheap welder, one to learn with so what ever it came with

harbor freight
