Question about the dents in your tailgate?

 

Our tailgates are weak and I was loading 600lbs into the bed off a loading dock. The dents are from where the lift sits.

 

My ventshades arrived today from.Amazon. 1 is broken so they need to be returned. They are really usefull here in the rainy PNW

Is there a thread or post that gives more details on what is involved to install the Redline
hood struts on a 2014 Sport 4x4 DCLB? Measurements, how fastened, take anything apart for install, tools needed?
Looks like I missed that October 10 discount. I did not even know there was such a thing.
Now I think I want to do that mod.

The instructions included explain the measurements pretty well, but they are fastened via rivets. All you need for tools are rivets, rivet gun, and a drill/drill bits. Super easy install.

Haha yup, N. PHX, but you'll mostly see it around Scottsdale up and down Shea or between flank Lloyd Wright and 7st on 101 haha


Question: anyone think i should put that TRD Sport sticker on the sides on the bed? Ib was considering some other design for it, if anyone even makes stuff for these trucks.

Bought some new usb ports for the HU. They did not fit the empty slots next to the cigarette lighter/12 volt inputs. They were made for the slots left of the steering wheel. But on the positive side they do work really well. Might whip out the dremel and cut them to fit what I originally purchased them for.




On a side note, I wasn't aware that the rear (1)diff lock and (2)tow buttons came pre-wired even if you didn't have those options at purchase.
