Who else is on '19 cal ID 04B41?

Any issues running 1.05 FOB 87/91?

Just trying to see if I'm the odd man out here...

    I'm your huckleberry.

Only OVT tune I have run is 1.05 FOB 91 in my 2019 Sport MT with 04B41.

All I have is joy. Way way way better than stock tune.

I have mentioned this before but something didn't take.

    Get a help ticket going.

Maybe clear everything and redownload the files (delete old files)

So does the 1.05 FOB tune make a noticeable impact on MPGS? I'm on 04B41, but still can't use my hand held.

I hear you, but the only thing I can think of is maybe when I downloaded the files via FM, MAYBE they were the wrong ones? I selected the correct year/transmission/cal ID and all that, plus the files had the correct nomenclature in the naming convention.

The thing with computer code is that it's either correct and it runs, or it's not and the machine crashes. If a file was corrupted I'd expect that the flash utility would show me an error or the truck would be bricked.

Cannot say. About the same. I now drive like a bat out of hell. 19mpg going over the Cascades Saturday. 21 coming back. 18 or so pure town. Winter gas.

    Archive date is 14 Sept.

I guess there were no base files completed for 1.05 04B41, just FOB. I checked tonight, same thing. Yes, I updated FM and purged local data.

Give 93 FOB a try? I've been running that in my '19 for about 5 months with no issues (04B41)

Unfortunately we don't have anything above 91 Octane fuel where I live.

Thanks for the input though, it shows that it's not a widespread issue but rather a me and my truck issue.

For the record, throttle became VERY delayed on 1.05 FOB 91, 1500-2000 RPM weak/delayed response, stutters 2500 ~ 3200 rpm. Went back to 87 FOB, almost the same as the 91 file except stutters less pronounced.

Back on OEM 04B41 last night, drives like an OEM file (not stellar, but all the delay went away). I can't explain this one.

I actually got my best fuel economy on FO maps. I'm of the opinion that if you've got any added weight at all, FO is the way to go for both additional lower end power and fuel economy if that's something that you care about

Just refilled my tank. 3rd full tank after tune. No additional additives.

    28°F drive in to work.

A few lights, some country roads, around golf courses, through suburbs. 12 miles.

Truck running strong. 18.5 mpg. I was never this high after any of my morning fill ups and commutes.

All is well. Except my ring finger.
