    oh i'm fully aware that it's apparently bad :rofl:
    was just poking fun at things to see if he'd bite at the chance to cut up another truck since he's got practice now :anonymous:

    but yeah, in general my list of things to do now is;

    1) Fix up the clear coat or remove it on the bumper, checked it this morning and it started to flake off from bumping it with the bow shackles i picked up for it.

    2) Actually install the damned thing; cutting the bumper out and having it work with the cali raised bracket (if i do get Eugene's light mount for the front grille, i would need to do the electrical work, add lights in, and additional button wiring to be able to run the system)

    3) Wait for the license plate hardware to get in from amazoom (should be this friday), picked up a cheap fairlead and a cheap fairlead license plate mount that will be a permanent temporary solution. 4wheelparts has a fairlead and license plate mount (there is another for hause plates) but it's a bit more that i was looking for currently.

    4) some other stuff that i don't remember

    Ah. So it’s going to be fairly large or going to be a teardrop style?

    I really like the style of the bruder. Looks very durable. Nice thing is that I can take from their design and add or delete to fit my needs. But it will have roof top seating for 4 lol.

    Very cool
    lighter the better. The Tacoma is not great when it comes to towing or carrying a load in general.

    should be very cool when it’s all said and done

    The shackles will wear the paint/powdercoat on the bumper face and in the lug bore. For this reason I keep the shackle in the bag with the recovery rope. You'll need to unscrew the shackle to put the rope on anyway. -2 overland points but whatever.

    Do the same. Plus It makes it easier for people to increase their recovery bag when you leave it on your truck all the time.

    Little trick I learned for using shackles. Tighten them all the way then back off half a turn. When using them , they will tighten up. If you back off half a turn.... they dont tighten up and you can easily undo them. It might already be common knowledge but after you turn 50 you are supposed to pass on tidbits of info. Now get off my lawn

    There is no scientific evidence that they work or even generate ultra low frequencies . Think about basic sound travel (or read the first link). But hey, for personal piece of mind, cant go wrong, especially for $14.

    I read about that and how studies show that by the time sound hits the deer, your car is already there. Maybe Mythbusters needs to cover this one.
