Just installed the pro grille on my TRD sport and I feel like my radiator is way more vulnerable now. Just wondering if I should look into installing some sort of mesh behind it and if anyone has any experience doing that.

Rocks, bugs, debris, anything that could hit it on the 10+ hours a week I spend on the highway and now it's the time of year for it to possibly get packed full of snow

It's nearly no less protection that your original grill. You'll be fine without mesh

    Just getting started...
Been running a Pro grille for quite a while now, no issues to speak of and I live out in the middle of the dirty rural back farm roads part of England. I wouldn't sweat it. Anything big enough to damage anything behind the grille is going to tear up the grille on its way through anyway, mesh or no mesh.

your radiator is protected by your AC compressor infront of it.
