A big buck on the ground will get you out of that depression, hang in there.

I would like to believe he is still alive . Blood tracker with dog seems to think so . As soon as I wake up the bad shot scenario plays out in my head . :( And I still can’t believe my bow was stolen out of my truck the very next night

Muzzle loader here is after rifle season . Doesn’t start until December. I have one ,an older Knight that needs the conversion for the hotter primer ? Don’t know much about them .

Got snow this morning. Went out to my ladder stand and started to go up and decided to go back down. Everything covered in ice.

Last time I went hunting was September 13th, it was 79 degrees and shot a nice 8 pt. It got hotter and I only have one buck tag left. Muzzle loader comes in here Saturday and the low Friday night is gonna be 36 with the high Saturday @59. I just got my permission slip signed to go Saturday morning and my wife is going Saturday evening. I'm happier than a buck with 3 hot does :broccoli:

My wife went yesterday and didn't see anything. She's going back this evening and I hope she can get a nice buck. We have 4 on camera that we know of that either of us would shoot.

Was planning on going back to that ranch I have permission on tonight. Had some bad weather move in yesterday evening and the roads were CRAP. Hoping the sun melts off some of it today and I can get a chance to get out this afternoon.

Success! Healthy buck, never seen so much fat on a deer.

Pic 1 is how he lay when I walked up to him!

Saw smaller deer in the field. Had a smaller 3x3 at 75 yards for about 20 mins. Set up in a perfect spot none of the deer knew I was there. Had a spike come in around 30 yards and a fork around 40. Looks like it would be a good spot for next year. I'm also going back too fill my doe tag around Thanksgiving.
