All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Having the hardest time finding someone to
    Install these 5.29 Nitros.

Anyone know of a good gear shop?
I called the guys a moment ago up in Woodstock called Greer Automotive, hoping they did. But no go.
My buddies at ACC could do it, I would just rather a shop mess with it that does gears often.

    Thoughts?
I did get a ref to check out Eighty Ninety Gears in Acworth Ga. Just haven’t heard anything about them.

Thought about it. But I just talked to my buddy that owns ACC. He says that they have done more than I was aware of.
In fact they just did his GX470, and they are doing my buddies FJC this weekend.
Problem solved. This way it’s only a 10min drive vs 10hrs

East Coast Gear in Raleigh. You and everyone else knows the name. They set the bar.

Other options could be Classic City Offroad in Athens.
    http://www.classiccityoffroad.com/

Or Red Clay Offroad in Newnan. These guys are relatively new and deal primarily with Jeeps. But they build some monsters and aren't afraid to use them.

    Edit:
ANNNDDD your last post makes everything above null and void.

    2nd Edit:
I'm actually thrilled to hear Brian does gears. Should I ever need to go that route, I now have no question of who will do the work

Good luck JB! I'm sure you'll have what feels like a different truck when you get those gears installed!

No doubt. This thing is killing me. All the shit I got on this thing and pulling with it makes me go nuts.
Ahh, my 2nd gen just felt like it had more balls, that is unless you wanna drive like Nascar, and then the 3rd will dust the 2nd gens.
I won’t even share with you guys what speeds I was able to get out of my TRD Pro when I first got it in its stock form.
Also jumped rail road tracks nicely, but I wouldn’t attempt that now, something may crack lol

edit - I will edit my statement as I see Chris is on here, and I am sure he will say something about his SC on 2nd gen. So yes, Chris may be able to out run me. Lol

My 2nd gen feels like it has more ass behind the haul too. At least in the lower RPMs it does. I think it's just the difference between a 2nd gen MT and a 3rd gen AT, that gives me that butt dyno feeling.

The difference is in Emissions Requirements. I have seen these 3rd gems run completely different with a Tune.
The gears should have been slightly different as well in the AT to begin with, but they don’t build these for the intent of modifications. Those Japanese!!!

Making it my bro. We got it with some unexpected and very expensive (relative to me at least) house repairs recently. Yay home ownership :annoyed:

Thats got me grabbing any overtime I can get, which I can only acquire on Saturdays since I'm salary. Needless to say all truck mods and more importantly bike mods are on an indefinite hold.

Now I'm praying for this much needed rain to take a break so I can get out on a trail and zen out for a bit on two wheels.

    You? Heading north soon?

My buddy some how broke my Servo on my UA4 Buffy yesterday. So here is a little tip. If ya friend slams your/his car doors when he gets out, don’t let him drive your rig. Lol
Very nice looking rigs, good times!
I will be finishing up my crawler course soon enough to get you guys over for a Wing n’ Crawl soon!!

That scout is badass BTW. Was thinking out of the group I saw, that it would perform the best. However I couldn’t say no to the Truggy.

I’m so in, let me know!

Just bought a second one as well, to let my friends and family mess around with. Mainly though so I don’t have to wheel alone, everyone know wheeling with friends is better
