He actually told you that? Damn, what a shady mofo! Hate people who do shit like that. I hope he gets questioned & has to end up paying for that.

Although $150 was a sweet deal, I wouldn't have supported theft of anyone by buying it once he said he stole it. Karma is a bitch...

Exactly. But must people don't give a rat's ass which also tells you what kind of person they are (no offense to the OP).

Technically cause he knew it was stolen when purchasing it, that's considered "receipt of stolen goods" which he could get prosectuted for. Not likely that he would get caught as the part is not really traceable.

I still can't believe the seller admited to it, especially for someone who transports expensive goods like a vehicle. Sounds kind of fishy to me or the truck driver just really doesn't care.

Ok well it was a dealer car and I've been working around car dealers and auctions for 5 years now. Obviously the dealer had no idea it was in the back of the truck or else he would have taken it out or installed it before taking it to the auction. Either way it looks good to me

Wow, great deal on a stolen rack. You should give it to someone for free though. It'll make you feel better.

Well since I work around the acutions and dealers and I know what goes on in the car business I didn't think to much of it..it would have been a totally different story if it was a personal vehicle..sorry if anybody is pissed off
