    Billings MT. Shot him 25 mins outside of the city. Yellowstone River Whitetail. They get much bigger than this too. My coworker had 2 mounts that are monsters.

    Nice! I used to have family that lived there. Prob still have relatives there, Im not for certain--they dont tell me crap or when people die so Im out of the loop...LOL

    yeah... im trying to talk my daughter into going on the youth hunt a week before gun season opens for us adults... most days she aint having it though... maybe ill catch her on a good day that weekend

    she's 5 (and a half haha) we got her behind an ar a few weeks ago but we were having trouble gettting the red dot to cooperate so i may try and get a standard scope on it and dial it in. i thought she was having trouble with eye relief but then she shot a pellet rifle with a 3-9 on it and she was hitting with it so that gives me some hope

    wow thats cool. Do they have an age/hunters ed requirement there? well shes got some time to get into it...its always cool to see the youngins get their first deer.

    No license till they are 16... Ill have to get her a conservation id to report any harvest... I'm not sure how that works without a DL but ill soon find out I guess Ha Ha

    Even just getting them out there with you is FUN AS HELL! My daughter is 5 and a half too and its been a blast taking her out this past week. Shes super into hunting right now, but I be that will change when boys aren't gross anymore. Just soak it up when you can man!

    Our son is 7, he says he wants to shoot one this year with his rifle. My wife and I don't think he is emotionally ready, he can shoot good though. Our daughter just turned 4, she would run one down, tackle it and stab it in the throat with a pencil and not think anything of it. They are SO different with their emotions right now, lol.

    I let my daughter watch the shot but my wife didn't think she was ready to hear the noises they make when you roll them around. Which I thought was fair. Every kids different. If my daughter asks to go out she's coming with me. If I ask her to come with and she says she doesn't feel like it, I'll be fine with her staying home.
