I have been experiencing some rubbing with 265/75/16s on stock suspension when I make a right turn over a bump/curb. Any thoughts if this rubbing will be eliminated when the BP-51 is installed? Hoping to get 3" out of it.

    Later.

Fantastic write up! We've had great success with our BPs on both the Tacoma and the 4Runner. Cheers!

I have the same setup, but after installing the coilovers before I took the truck out this weekend, I noticed that they feel like they are topping out......what are u running for the preload? Factory 20mm? What compression and rebound settings?

It would be awesome if you or someone has driven both the medium 90021 kit and compared it to these. Curious to know noticeable differences. Truck looks solid with good stance in your pics. This is by far the sexiest suspension color and design out of the bunch (icon, Fox, king, etc.)

I am about to pull the trigger on the BP-51 kit. I also have a 3rd gen tacoma dbcb. I was wondering how much lift the kit gave you?

Great review! So a few questions for the OP or other who have installed the ARB BP51:

    • At the softest setting on the BP51, was the ride quality more comfortable or harsh when compared to the OEM TRD Offroad suspension?
    • Without UCA, where you able to achieve 0 camber and 0 toe? And also keep caster within spec?
    • I'm assume the BP51 is extend travel front and rear? If so how much additional travel does the BP51 have?
    Thanks!

do the BP-51 setup give you any extended travel length over stock or is it the same?

Happy with my OME BP-51 set up. Just lowered the front to 10mm (came stock at 20mm). I don't have an aftermarket bumper and the 10mm. feels spot on.

When it came stock at 20mm I believe I had about a 2.25" lift. Now, having gone to 10mm on the OME BP-51, it's just under 2".

Are any of you running shims on the rear leaf pack? I notice the kit just comes with a shim for the carrier bearing correct? I’ve seen it mentioned others had to use a 2 deg shim the leaf pack due to vibrations. I’m trying to figure out if I should just order the shims and install them right away or try it without first.
    Going on a 2019 DCSB SR5.
