    That's a really neat idea for a product and I like it a lot. Could even consider selling it as a kit with the bracket, switch, and a 12" lead, since there are many folks without a hydraulic crimper capable of making it. One thing I am curious on is if older trucks that don't have a beaper (such as mine) have the same mounting point.

    Hey man! Any chance you could provide information on how you wired from the switch to the battery? I am picking up a Warn m8000 this week and would like to do a similar setup with the blue sea 3000 switch. Depending on timing/cost I could be interested in a bracket too!

    It’s wired the same way you would without the switch. The switch jut interrupts the hot (red) lead. Two terminals. You hook up the hot lead from the winch to the switch and then you’ll need another 12”-18” length of cable to go from the switch to the battery +.
    You can get the cable on Amazon or any local battery/marine shop

    I am interested as well. One thing I would like for you to put some thought into:

    On my 4runner build, I relocated the winch controller plug-in into the cabin of the vehicle.

    Could your bracket have a similar mount for relocating this winch controller jack?

    The shaft (wink) is just round with the addition of the two screw holes. There's no contours, ridges, etc. I believe Warn is the same.

    If that's not possible maybe provide some space with a "blank" to drill holes?

    Have you considered wiring in cab winch controls? Kinda going off topic but I have my normal plug on my solenoid, and also tapped into the solenoid and ran switches into the cab. It was extremely easy, only 3 wires. That way I don’t need to mess with a remote 95% of the time.
