So I watched this last night, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bl1IgirS5Oc , and at one point they are going over some of the 2020 features. One comment made that stood out was that the cameras under the mirrors are an option on the Pro. I am fairly certain they are just misinformed as the Pro has only one option that I can find and that is the DAI. Just wondering if someone with a Pro can comment on this.

I agree. The key fob is likely enough, but that app has some nice features like mileage and fuel level.

Correct, standard feature. And they kinda suck to be honest. The resolution on these potato cameras is so awful along with the backup camera that is makes the MTM almost useless. Easier to just stick your head out the damn window. It's amazing how Toyota's camera systems seem to get worse as the years go by. Our 2014 4Runner had much better backup camera than the 2020 Tacoma.

Camera quality is pretty horrible, especially comparing to my other vehicle. Also the camera cuts out if you are going more than a few miles per hour which is super annoying. I'm not sure if this is a setting you can change. I also think you need to be in 4wd Lo to enable some of the camera features.

Can someone tell me if the PRO has a different front and rear sway bar from the other trims? really thinking about picking up a 2020 off road instead now

    A few.
Supposed to have a thicker front sway bar. No tacoma has a rear swaybar.

2019 and 2020 Pro probably use the same front sway.

    From a magazine review:
The mid-size Tacoma TRD Pro will be fitted with a larger front sway bar for 2019, delivering "crisp" steering and road manners, as Toyota put it. Other equipment for the Tacoma TRD Pro includes an updated front skid plate with "TRD" red lettering and cat-back performance exhaust with black chrome tip.

I'm guessing the Pro MTs don't do that.

Sure don't add that to the list of features not offered with manuals, still worth it though.

Wait so how different are the sway bars for 2017 and 2018 Pro's vs 2019+ Pro's?

How is the range of the remote start for you? I could never get it to work unless I'm standing just a few feet away from the truck which defeats the whole purpose of remote start. The door lock/unlock function has normal range like you'd expect but it doesn't seem to be same for remote start...

I'm not sure what years and models come with remote start but my 2020 Pro does. Press the lock button 3 times, hold down on the 3rd for a few seconds and the truck will start up. Like I said, you have to be pretty close to the truck for it to work. I checked the owner's manual and could not find any mention of this. Not even in the e-brochure...

guess its a good surprise. Wondering how well the smartphone app works. The car turns off when you open the door right? Thats how my Subaru was which is annoying, but it makes sense I guess
