20191023_154301.jpg I lost my bed cap on the highway. Pretty salty about it but now I'm in the market for something, is there anything aftermarket? I looked for something but came up short

    Yep.
If you were mainland I'd offer my old takeoffs. Since you're not, here are some aftermarket ones - KB VooDoo

I have the old steel style under my cap. Only complaint, the powder coat was shit. Had to blast and refinish them.

I like them a lot. They’re good in snow. The main reason I chose them is because of the light weight of the load range C.

Go gitcha some free recall leaf springs....those 3 leafs will turn into sturdier 4 leafs and give ya about 3/4 inch lift out back. Hit up your local dealer. Truck will ride better too. Better effect on RCs than AC/DC trucks.............

There should be a few recalls for our trucks.. The leaf springs and the cats come to mind first. I've had both done to mine. The leafs are ok... I eventually just got some HD dakars.

I don’t think it’s a safety recall thing as much as it’s a TSB (technical service bulletin) and you can talk to the dealer about it and get it done for free. It’s been a while so things might have changed but that’s how it was when I had the taco

    Stock as shit!
I took my 2010 to have a new clutch put in and when they gave it back it had the steering column repair (whatever that is) and a new set of leafs. I didn't mention it when I took it in and they didn't mention any of the work to me until I came to pick the truck up. Apparently those TSBs are still being honored.

Good looking truck! I had a softopper briefly, but the solid sides made it hard to see backing up, especially out of parking spots.
