Are manual transmission owners like the crossfitters / essential oils of TW

I tried crocs, I hated the swamp foot feel. And the smell! My feet spend too much time in work boots already. They need to be free off shift, so sandals are my choice.

I’m sure I get accused of having a negative IQ every time I’m driving with a coworker in auto trans work vehicle and I stomp the floor with my left foot, then it looks like I’m reaching across the middle of the front seats to grab their left knee cap.

The worry is always the dudes who don’t move away.

Any cool production car out there now days with either an auto/double clutch OR a manual option, the auto will outperform 100% of the time. Youtube any of the following:

"Hellcat manual vs auto"
"M3 ..."
"blah blah.."

Auto wins all the time.

I mean nostalgia and "being one with the car" is cool and all...but when your manual is just physically slower then the same car with an auto, thats embarrassing.


In summary manual owners are indeed the crossfitters, and the auto owners are the jacked juiced up bodybuilders who lift way more weight, dwarf them at the beach shirtless and tell them to get the f**k out of their squat rack.

I just got a manual trans 2nd gen dcsb. I do one legged Crossfit every time I drive. Gonna start using them essential oils too.

 

More of a deadlift guy, so we can add 315lbs for anything over 10 reps. Squats are already halfway covered because I drive a manual, and my over utilized left leg induced body lean is a crowd pleasing side-effect.

 

Dude that lean is legit.

It’s my mean lean. Or if I dropped weight my lean lean. I guess if I took up farming it’d be my bean lean, and if I was a metal worker a beam lean.

Actually, I wear blue jeans so it’s my jean lean. All leans off of my left side, of course. Right side I just flop over and kick in circles.

Whichever one my crossfit instructor tells me. She says I belong to her when I pass into her “throne room”. I’m starting to get the feeling this is all a fucking hoax though after the whole “shake a rope for an hour” fiasco.
