Hey everyone, I know there are a million threads on lifts but I can not find a direct answer to my specific question. Pardon me if this has been answered.

I am currently changing my spacer lift with Bilstein 5100 for ToyTec 521600 springs. Currently, I have a 3 inch lift, so I want to keep that ride height. One of the options list with those springs is a space kit that will bring my lift back up to 3 inches.

A problem that I know about is "taco lean" when you replace OEM springs. My question is, will the spacers that Toytec recommends even the truck out? Are they the same size spacer? Their website says this "Provides approximately 1/2" to 3/4" lift."

If it doesn't even it out. What spacers will I need to buy to get the 3 inches of lift and keep the front end even?

Why don’t you do the Toytec TTAFCS-HA. It’s the completed assembly with the Toytec top hat pre assembled. If you price it out like an extra $50 to go this route and add the 1/4 spacer on the driver side. Should be pretty darn close to even.

image.jpg Oops more like 100 difference. But the time you save not having to take your old springs apart to get the top hat off etc pays for it. It’s 3 nuts and a bolt old out new in.

I’d also go with jba ucas since your going 3”. You’ll need them to help with alignment post tire install.

The problem I have is that I already have the 5100's installed on the truck with the spacer. I know you shouldnt stack lifts, but at the time I could not afford new springs. I have after market upper control arms installed as well. The only thing I will be changing out is going to be the springs, or I would just buy these.

So you have 5100s with the factory coils and top hat.

Add a spacer lift to the Hat and yes! Now my plan is to take the spacer lift off and replace it with a spring.

The coils will need to put at 0 on the billies. Install the factory top with the new extended length bolts then you could use that thin 1/2 spacer on the driver side and you should be close to level if not level. I went with assembly on my prerunner and got exactly 3” so I just added the 1/4 spacer on the driver side.

Currently, I am evened out with what I have on the truck.
Sorry, I am still a little confused. Should I buy the spacers "Front Top Plate Spacer Kit - Aluminum Finish" to get to the same height and add an additional spacer to that? or buy something different to stay level?

I would get them. You may not need them or only need one. You won’t know until you install the coilovers and then measure. You could get 2.5” or 3” you never know until the weight of the truck is sitting on them. You could get 3 on one side and 2 3/4 on the other. Unfortunately it’s not an exact science. Even though the springs are the same due to slight weight differences on each side of the truck, you could slight lift differences per side.
