Dang you over toward St. Louis too. Heading north of Kansas City in 10 days. Time to let some arrows fly.

    They do love some nuts.

rabbit is actually early the year. It’s usually the Sat before thanksgiving because most the diseased rabbits have died off. I have only gotten a few rabbits when I was squirrel hunting. Don’t use dogs or anything just shoot at them if I see them.

    Re the poll:

First time I flew was in a Cessna at the age of ~6.
This was a private plane owned by one of my Dad's friends.
My Father had been a B-24 pilot in WW2.

Not long after that (1961-62?), I flew with my Mom to Birmingham to visit my maternal grandparents.
(Coincidentally, that was at the height of the Civil Rights troubles there).

IIRC, the first successful commercial jetliner was the Boeing 707, which was coming into service around that time.
We didn't fly on one of those. :p
No, it was a piston powered prop plane.
It was plenty loud...with lots of rattles and shakes.
    Did that several times.

First flew on a Boeing 707 in 1972.
That was quite a different experience.

[EDIT] Looked it up. Probably this, a Douglas DC-6, which was in widespread service at the time.
