    UPDATE:

So I am planning on meeting up with my Vendors head boss and their engineer at SEMA and they are having me bring the 2nd Gen Tailgate Handle. They are doing work on my Truck there and what they have planned to do is take your handle back with them and make me my own 2nd Gen Tailgate Handle that mimics the 3rd Gen or similar so that I have my own 2nd Gen Tailgate Handle to sell to you guys for the BNL Bracket & Rod. If you can hang with me a little longer, I know it’s been awhile and I apologize, but I’m trying to make you a great product.

Literally just got my Pop N Lock before stumbling across this... Will probably end up installing it (and splicing), but subbing this for interest.

After reading this I'm still a bit confused, maybe its a lack of mental capacity, so I have a 2nd Gen 13' with a pop and lock tailgate handle. If I understand correctly in order to do this kit I would have to drill into the tailgate? and would i have to splice into the wiring or not?

I'm so confused, can someone just tell me what I would need to order to make my regular pop n lock on my 2014 work with my remote's fob?

Current status? The key slot on my pop n lock isn't a very big fan of the cold weather here, I'd love to get it hooked up to work with my remote

I'm very confused. I have a 2013. What do I need to order entirely. And have you figured out the option for not drilling yet?

Well until China figures out their current situation, my vendors are not able to report back to work. My vendors own Toyota of China. I have been informed that I cannot send anything as of right now to them. I have a huge shipment to send them with a lot of items. One being a sample of a BNL for your no drilling kit. My vendor will also be making me a Tailgate Handle so that I will have my own handle that works with my own BNL Bracket for your generation. However, for now, I only have the kit that I released for the 2nd Gen Tacoma 2005-2011. For the 2012-2015 Tacoma, I have everything except your PNP Harness because my Vendor was in the process of making both of these Harnesses right when they got banded from going back to work and their vacation started. I am able to start the 05-11 because it is the same connectors as the 3rd Gens. If you want to tap into your wires temporarily, then you can purchase my items separately and then when I get the PNP Harnesses I will give you the same rate as the full kit. Just let me know.

Not sure what all you have or if you just have the tailgate handle, but I just made the order finally for both sets of 2nd Gen Tacoma PNP Harnesses. I put a order of 100 for each in so that should do for a little while at least. I’m still not cleared to ship due to the situation in the states. Vendors are afraid that customs will hold my package. I have not problem receiving but they are afraid if I try to ship things out, that is where the issue will come into play. With all the items I have to ship to them, I can risk it so I guess I have to wait until things calm down a bit to get the Tailgate Handle to them to make for me. Therefore, for now, it will be a required Drill Kit for now. It is in the works to develop a integrated harness with a disconnect for the tailgate as well. It has not been made yet but it’s in the works. You will also be able to upgrade to that when it does become available too.
