Went to the place called "the garage" for lunch. Parked next to a worthy silverado prerunner.

I'm going to mount a 50" curved onx6 light bar to the roof of my regular cab. Just before I installed it with the Cali Raised curved light bar mounts I noticed that the baja install diagram showed two bolts mounting the light bar to the baja brackets. The cali raised brackets only have one mounting hole for the light bar which would use the shorter of the two supplied bolts. Would it be safe to install the light bar like that? Can I use a longer bolt and be fine? Or should I cut the factory brackets and weld them to the Cali Raised Bracket so I can use both bolts?

@Baja Designs i have a set of squadron sport fogs and the anodized material is fading pretty good. Is that covered at all?

We don't recommend using the single mounting bolt. Using both will make sure the light bar doesn't try to move on you

Question - I ordered a pair of Squadron Pro's to use as ditch lights. Got them with the clear lens and driving combo.

As far as the adverse conditions (snow) we get 5 days a year here, would it be beneficial to scoop up a set of amber lenses and for snow and/or heavy fog? If so, would the driving combo still be best, or would wide cornering be better in those scenarios?

Lastly, what are you 3rd gen guys using for ditch light brackets? I have Calirasied right now, but the mount is far too low and close to the hood. I need something a little higher up, but not quite as high (or expensive) as the Rago mounts.

For snow and fog, the amber is excellent, but I don't know how effective it'd be in a ditch light location. Down in a fog light location would be much more beneficial.

I have a pair of S1’s in amber, wide cornering, being delivered tomorrow. Nothing else will really work with the fog cutout design on my front bumper.
