Get yourself someone who looks at you the way my dog looks at recovery gear because he knows it means we're going out :D

Also, I wrote an ode to my new gear. To the tune of "Flight of the Valyries":

    If you have a twwooo-wheel
    This is how yooouu deal
    Stuck in the saaaannd

    They come in a carry-case
    This is a big waste
    Mount that shiiiiiiiittt

It's a work in progress. Dog was not impressed. Here's to seeing how stuck (and hopefully unstuck) I can get this weekend!IMG_20191030_193154_Bokeh.jpg

Got mine for $88 a while back. I think you can get them for $70 now. Unable to provide review since I haven't had to use them, but they seem rigid enough and well made.

    Traction boards is Bae

I had a set before I went to proper maxtrax. In all honesty, for a "filthy casual" like myself, those X-bulls did everything I asked them to do. They do lack some capability that I eventually needed, but for winter DD truck duty. they took the prize. Plus if someone tries to do a burnout on them, you don't feel so bad at the cost of them.
