Will there be video of this comp? I’d enjoy watching.

I'm not sure about live video or anything but I will have someone videoing all my events at least.

There are about 150 people signed up so far, from what the promoter tells me, so it should be a pretty big comp.

I used to shower and get dressed at my commercial gym every morning before going to work. I’m used to creepy old men walking around with their thing hanging out. It doesn’t really bother me anymore I just don’t look.

Today was hypertrophy push shoulder focused day. I looked like a lift a lil bit after my workout.

Not much gets my abs more sore than a few sets of front squats! I'm sure some would say I'm doing them "wrong" because I do purposely lean forward just a little because it hits my abs/obliques, and its somewhat like a Leaper/Thruster if anyone is familiar with that torturous device from football. Helps get that fast and powerful forward drive from a low position.

I get 40 lbs at a time. Got a couple buddies that work at a chicken plant. Still comes out to about $2/lb but it’s all fresh.

Stronglifts5x5 week 1 workout B complete. Today is a rest day in this plan, so I am resting, with some stretching tossed in to try to avoid getting too tight

Tomorrow morning early, think 3:30am early, I am leaving my natural habitat and headed to a wedding for the weekend, returning sunday evening. I dont have a gym membership in said town. How do you guys get your lift in while travelling? One day gym passes? YMCA for the day?

added note I am not staying in a hotel, so I wont even have a hotel gym to consider. and my luggage will not weight the required weights.

If nothing pans out I will do body weight squats for more reps with proper form and see what else i can make happen........

Depends how long I am traveling for. If only a couple days (like a weekend) I’ll lift Friday before I leave and Monday when I’m back and be fine missing the weekend. I’m going to Disney next month for 5 days am have already picked out a gym in the area I’ll be going to 3 of those days (when we aren’t at the parks all day). Most gyms will have a day pass for a few bucks

Orlando FL. My wife has a 4 day conference so we made a week out of it for a couple full days at the parks and a couple half. Half days I plan on lifting while she’s at the conference in the mornings

I gym stalk on the interwebs way ahead of time. I kind of enjoy the challenge of finding a good gym in an unfamiliar place.
