i use to have a hatchback with a rear wiper/ mister. did the wiper delete drilled a hole in the plug attached the mister hose with a watergun tip so when people would tailgate a flip of a switch would squirt a nice solid stream at there windshild. they would get pissy for sure but only if they knew it was wiper fluid so i was actually helping them out.

it's really simple to piss off a tailgater. take your foot off the gas. stay off the brake and let them figure out the closer they get the slower you go. brake checking/winsheld wiper fluid/et al is a bigger asshole move than tailgating. be the better person.

LOL With my brick of a truck going up hill, taking my foot off the gas is close to slamming on the brakes

family had a Volvo station wagon. the running joke was we had to turn off the a/c to go uphill... we didn't have to but with only 90hp, it was a struggle with out it. heavy ass Swedish brick.

Ah, was very popular with MK4 VW hatches. My cousin had done the same thing, really confused people.

I figured lol! Wasn't as easy to do on the MK6 which is what I owned but no one bothered tailgating that car either since it was catless. Your eyes would tear up if you drove too close.

The rear lights are for special tailgaters. I've used them twice: both times well deserved. Normal course of action is to slow down or if they look reckless move over.

I really like the rear washer spray move though, that's classic.
