I’d do it . Like I said before with me....I got em on my current bajas. Same difference. In terms of what we’re talking about. It rides nice and adds what I need.

The constant articulation from driving on the sand and dirt/rocky roads here are what concern me about it

Picked up a 2014 Baja about a week ago. Been my dream truck for years and now I’m finally a proud owner. Traded in a 2017 Subaru WRX for it.

That’s my main concern. It may be fine for me for a while but I’m thinking long-term use. Which is why I went back to an OEM coilover/shock setup. I don’t have to worry about rebuilding, or at least not for a long while more. A stock leaf pack probably will suit me since I don’t haul or tow stuff. The heaviest loads I’ve had were on my stock leaf pack and only dropped the rear a half inch or mayyybe an inch

    I’d say it’s a good choice.

so I had mentioned before I changed up my stickers on my front fenders. These in my opinion look way better. I bring this back up again cuz I put my first one on like a complete asshole. I ordered new ones and redid it. It really chapped my ass because normally I have a real steady hand for shit like this. What do you guys think?? I gotta add too that I had these on in this area long before Toyota put those badges on the 3rd gen TRD Pros....

Thanks man. I don’t like the norm. I try to have mine look just a little different than the rest if I can.

My truck is parked out on the driveway now and we got our first snow of the year with accumulation........and it’s windy as fuck. However, I snapped this earlier. Notice the red anodized pulley (2.825) is no more. About 3 weeks ago I finally executed what I’ve been planning to upgrade on the motor which includes a 2.7 quick change pulley from smoothflow, FPR mod to boost reference which adds more fuel due to the more air that is getting produced by the smaller pulley and keeps me on the richer side, uploaded my custom 2.7 tune from Ovtune. It runs much smoother and definitely more gettyup. In the coming weeks I’ll be installing my JFR y-pipe.

    Thanks man lol.

@RyanL so I’ve always been all about the engine mods WITH complete reliability. When the s/c thread took off about 2-3 years ago with a core of us, I was always the one last to do a lot of the mods. Exhaust, headers, tuning. And with the tuning I’m still behind because I still haven’t gone to hptune. I’ll admit most of my rational is just my paranoia to keep this build reliable. The effect of that is everyone else being the guinea pigs so to speak. For example, the 2.7 was always pushed as a pulley that needs so many other mods and retuning. These guys are now pushing 2.6’s, 5’s and even 2’s. Yes at that point you need to be much more involved with other supporting mods and such. Once I found out the 2.7 was safe and reliable with minor adjustments in easy mods, I was in. The 2.7 runs exactly how this should have run out the gate. It’s pretty dope......

You’re talking to someone who had his suspension changed 3 times this year and did his math in pen in high school

Been reading about them shorter nuts too to accommodate the 1/2” spacer eliminating the need to change out the studs entirely. Seems more ideal than having to disassemble the coilovers

We're speaking the same language brother, I'm back there waiting with you on the safe / reliable side of things. So, big difference with the 2.7 then?? And you did Roost's tensioner, right? That's what I'm looking at, honestly up here at 4500' a 2.7 will just be putting the ~2 lbs of lost boost back like it would be at sea level.
