You see so many in VA because its only an extra $10 per year for a personalized character combo, and $10 a year for a specific plate. So for me $20 a year for the 4LOPRO on a veterans plate.

 

WHAT?! OH I AM DEFINITELY WRITING TO MY GOVERNOR!!!!! Christ, what are ours, well, now, mine!? Like 120, then another 80 for two years.

Do they still not require insurance down there, but do require yearly inspections?

 

How is school going BTW? I hope your getting my monies worth. With what I paid this last year I could 4 of youz through college.

 

You can pay a fee and not have insurance, I think it's $500? I don't remember. As far as inspections, there are annual safety inspections, however they're not actually linked to your ability to get your registration. If you get caught without it, it's just a $70ish slap on the wrist. So I went and got my plates yesterday and haven't gotten a safety inspection. Don't plan on it either.

School is going well, these two classes are a piece of cake. I have a 98% in each one. Right now we're only meeting once every other week so even easier

Oh, and I found a couple sweet Off Roads last night. Well, this morning. I was up until 0fucking330 again with insomnia, then woke the fuck up 0600 by the wife. FML!!!!!!!

But I found a couple of 2020 LB OR's with the Premium and Advanced Tech packages like I want, and no other dealer added bullshit. One is Voodoo Blue and the other is Cement. Both are top choices. The Voodoo is very intense and I have seen this color in person a couple times and the wife and I are kinda not too sure about it. She thinks it is more a girls color and would be something that would grow on us over time. I kinda agree but being as flamboyant as I am, and always wanting to go against the grain like I do, that is exactly why I like it. It's #KAPOW in your face blue.

Now the cement ain't no slouch either. I remember when the TC came out in Cement! I almost bought one but a test drive showed me that car was designed for someone much younger and much much smaller than me.

So I'm pretty excited. Best part is, both of these are well under what I was originally willing to spend. I think I should be able to get them down a little more too. Or maybe throw in an extended warr at least. I'm also going to ask about swapping the shock and coilover's for the Fox 2.0 setup on the Pro. See how much they would charge me.

Now I just need to get my fucking insurance company to get their shit into gear and get this done so I can get my money.

 

So its weird, but I don't like voodoo blue on the tacomas. BUT we have a voodoo 4Runner here in my neighborhood and it is gorgeous!

I feel the same way. It's a love hate relationship. I think I like the Calvary Blue more but the Voodoo is just more my style. I mean the last one was Inferno. That's not everyones cup of tea either. If I'm lucky enough to find a dealer with a Voodoo, Cement and Quicksand I am gonna ask them to line them up side by side so I can really look at them. Take my time, maybe an hour or so to just walk around them and be sure.

I mean I have been here long enough that those of you that know me know I can take any opinions or criticisms and not get butt hurt. You also know I am biggest Martha Stewart there is when it comes to color schemes. The wife and Love the desert storm look of the quicksand with black accents. I just wonder if that color is played out or not. I do like that one too.
