    thats why i figured do it now. are stock valves ok? is it worth it to get them over sized and have heads sent to machine shop?

    All depends on how much you want to spend. Valves will be, but the springs must be upgraded. Just a reiteration.

    Pushed hard this weekend to get this job done. All seems fine after the break in. Got some scares at first in smoke in the engine bay from oil that had dripped on the exhaust, and a misfire because I hadn't pushed one of the coil pack connectors all the way on. I also like the fresh paint on the valve covers.
