    :amen:

it sounded like a pushrod V8 but it was honestly pretty mild, sounded good. Obviously he wasn't romping it but idk if he had a valvetronic or what. Seems like a bunch of unnecessary work on an old bodied pikes peak car though, maybe his HOA is strict asf about or something

No one has come in 5 years? we just have a bunch of angry moms who attempt to close the roads into the neighborhood. At least they did back in high school. I left for work my dad said "good luck getting home" though so we'll see how that goes

I was walking up to the driveway after walking the dog as a family of 3 kids dressed as fire fighters and their parents were approaching my front door and I had to break the news that we were lame.and didn't buy any candy this year. I apologized and told em happy Halloween .

Nope, and the decorations have been trimmed to yard flag. I know where it is, but it's not worth the work. Door is open (screen door), lights are on, cars moved to make a walk way. No one is coming.

You're in a pretty traditional neighborhood though, yeh? Any idea why you don't get any trick or treaters?

What is a pikes peak car?

I saw a cool video that explained why American v8s and European v8s sound so different. I expected it to be because of the difference in displacement since.more Euro v8s are the size of our v6s. Turns out it's the cams. And not sohc vs dohc either.our cams are 90° theirs.are 180°

Yeah, most euro V8s are flat planes so they can rev a lot higher. Sound different too like you said 'cause of the cams. And a car built for racing Pike's Peak. Typically either super wide body rwd cars like this or rally guys. If you got time watch some races on Youtube, its crazy. Mistakes are almost guarenteed death.

Not too many young ones. And it's almost 50% rental now, and the folks in the fourplexes move every two weeks, judging by the dead furniture they pile out as trash. It was traditional when we got here years ago. Cars would stop from the country, and let the kids go down the street back in the day.

It’s probably a bnsf train, they’re the culprits usually tied down in the siding right there. The reason at least 1 engine is left running is to keep the cars on air, and with the weather being cold like it is, we’re supposed to leave all engines running so the water doesn’t dump, which happens if it’s cold enough and the engine is shut down, to keep the engine from freezing. Sorry for the rumbling it’s causing you, hopefully they get the pos moving soon.

They’re actually quite easy to start up, takes a couple of minutes at most. Ive seen a piston that came flying out an engine, thing was huge
