What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I use a similar hard holster that lays it up against the steering column with the waistband clip on the plastic facia below the steering wheel. The backstrap lies horizontally with the slide to the right so it’s as fairly easy draw from the seated position or partially out of the vehicle. I’d drop a photo but I’m out of town.

Get some Wet Okole seat covers with the front pocket. Easy access and invisible when looking in the truck.

 

I might need to do this (or something similar) to the window switches on my 2011. The grey plastic is discoloring at a different rate than the rest of the door. Looks like poop. (not literally, just trying to use cleaner language)

 

I’ve had these seat covers on mine for over seven years and absolutely love and endorse them. Great fit, durable, take mud and dirt and clean up easily. Back then they didn’t come with the pocket. That’s a great concealed position. Just don’t ventilate your knee cap on the draw!

You Carbonators need to post the process and supplies used for doing this! Here’s my center console, but it’s the only carbon fiber I have currently.

 

So is it a vinyl? an overlay of some sort? What do I need to google?

 

All you need is a heat gun and vinyl wrap. When I first started I went into this totally blind. You just peel and stick to the center, and continually warm the piece as you massage out towards the edge. By your second piece you will have it nailed down perfect. Way more intimidating than it looks

 

/\ tru that...really cheap to do just requires a little patience and your wifes blow dryer (no heat gun needed) . I live in a very hot region so we will see how it holds up with average temps in the 100's.
