I got a Driver side AVS Rain deflector thing.

some guy tried to break into my tacoma and snapped my passenger side in half. Ended up buying weathertech instead lol. just pay shipping but sticky stuff is gone but i'm pretty sure u can just use dbl stick tape

They're just the plain old Dunlops that came stock. They look like the spare in the picture... just cleaner. They have 1,300 miles on them (still plenty of tread). BUT... they came off of my 2006 (at the end of '05) and are on the old side. From what I understand, rubber has a shelf life. Although they have been stored in a climate controlled shed for most of their life.

If nothing else, they would make a good catfish habitat in your local pond. Drill some holes in the side walls and sink 'em.

if not go try it, then put one of these on and try again.

 

Where does one procure this type? I just have a standard hose clamp on mine now, but would prefer this type.
