I love deer hunting. Used to hunt a lot in Caswell county, N.C. growing up. Oak trees galore, seems there was a squirrel for every acorn at times. You'd be sitting there on a dry morning and hear the rustling of the leaves getting all jacked up and turns out it's another squirrel. I saw 2 chasing each other once in a large oak tree, one fell from about 40 feet and landed on his back. Laid there for 2-3 minutes and then got up and ran off. I don't know why but of the 1000's of squirrels I've seen and watched for hours, I'm wondering has anyone ever seen a squirrel use the bathroom? I never have. :D

I don't think I've posted in this thread yet, but my buck that I'm proud to have harvested a couple years back. Biggest one I've killed in 30 years of hunting. Field dressed at 205lbs and he ended up scoring 160-1/2"

My boy Coop is proud of him too.

He looks good hanging on the wall as well!

Anyone have any white tail cube steak recipes? I'm looking for other ways to prepare it besides the standard method fried & gravy.

Thanks, yes sir I did. Funny thing is, I had been hunting this property for 5 years and had only killed does and a few spikes. One day, this big daddy came chasing two does 80 yards in front of my stand. My opportunity of a lifetime!

Yes sir! Killed in Pell City, on 88 acres of land, half landlocked by the St. Clair county airport. So I hear a lot of planes when I'm hunting! lol

I didn't know you hunted EJ! Good on you for taking your kid hunting, I take my boys squirrel hunting quite a bit.

I don't see you much in the Bama thread... I'm not as active there as I was when I first joined.

Yeah I been killing stuff for about 25 years haha I'm really not as active on tw as I used to be. I check my notifications a few times a day and then I plug my channel when I drop a new video or post pics here and there when I make a holster... I guess I'm quietly active in several threads...:spy:
