Wow, free.99? Even for a hundred bucks looks like a keeper.
Reminds me I picked up a rifle in a package deal, came with ammo and other rifle I wanted, but it was a Mosin-Nagant that had the barrel shortened. Guy said it was for hunting and that it made a big bang..... I still haven't shot it:anonymous:

this is starting to look pretty cool, not usually into the fantasy types of shows (GoT being an exception)

Haven't read the books so I don't know how it will compare

I couldn't find a proper thermometer but my infrared one said I was only 97 deg :homer:

I think fever is right, I'm working from home and have been freezing/burning up at alternating intervals all morning.

Sucks that she's sick now, hopefully she's feeling better in no time

A quick google search tells me that based on where its made and the fact that its all there puts it at about $1000 in the condition its in. But I promised the gentleman who gave it to me Id never get rid of it, so value means nothing to me. Ill clean it up and shoot it. It will go nicely with my yugo mauser.

My mosin cant hold a zero once its warmed up, even with the repro sniper scope I added. Piece of junk guns, dunno why people talk so highly of them.

yeah she's at the tail end of it now I think. Just sucks cause being pregnant she can't take any of the drugs that actually work to make you feel better lol. I hardly felt sick at all compared to her because I was loaded up with DayQuil and pseudoephedrine all day e'ry day

Anyway I guess the good news about getting sick this early in the season is you can't catch the same cold twice so you have less to worry about until next year.

Nice! That's a good thing you're doing. We all have these 'prized' (personal value, ya know?) and I know when I get old I'd love to hand whatever it is down to someone who'll respect it and care for it as I have.... There's still good kids out there man. Good to know:rofl: I joke of course but yeah you're doing the dude a solid by valuing what it means to him and not the picking it up for the turn it monetary value:cool:

I speak highly of the metal plated skull cracking ability of the stock...... And might be about it. They are cool looking and history and stuff. And they make a loud bang. So sounds like a hundred buck rifle

I paid $119 for my mosin back in 2011. If I didnt add the scope it would be a $400 gun today.

I used to get 440 rounds of surplus ammo in a big spam can for $75. I think those cans fetch like $200 now if you can find em.

Exactly right. Same data/info I'm seeing too. Wish I would've bought ten of em and left in cosmoline in the box. Could quadruple the investment. I still have a couple of the spam cans too. Cheap and only goes up in value

Anyone know the part number for a 2 bolt flange from TRD?
I see them everywhere but I cant find a part number.
This is for a 5vz TRD headers connection between header and stock exhaust/cat. It needs to be modified because stock flange is 3 bolt and is too long. So I need to find this 2 bolt flange.

I shot up all my surplus for that gun and my mausers. Only way I shoot my mosin, which is once every 3 or more years is with handloads.

Now, I do have a can of surplus 30-06 that will stay sealed until the end of time or until such time that it is deemed needed.

I had an exhaust shop weld on a 2 bolt flange for like $90 after I put my ebay headers on

Do you know if they used just a standard 2.5'' flange?

Man 2 weeks is a long time to still be getting hit by a cold...sounds like a brutal one. The only thing still lingering for me is the congestion...which has been pretty bad at night mostly. Which coincidentally is my least favorite part of being sick, if I can't breathe well at night then I don't sleep. At least not very well.
