PayPal will pull it from the seller's account immediately, then PayPal collects interest on the money, then a few days later you'll get your money back. Depending on the listing the item was purchased from, sometimes you keep the purchase and sometimes the purchase must be returned. The listing itself will determine who pays the return shipping, I believe. Many sellers don't want the hassle of the paperwork of returns and the often unsellable items of the returns and even though the listing might say the item must be returned the seller won't require the item to be returned.

About 3 to 5 days. Paypal gave the "other party" a chance to fight/argue my claim. The guy never did anything, so Paypal refunded me my money.

This is one of his tactics. There have been lots of threads with really bad experiences documented, but they all seem to disappear off the forum.

I’d say to dispute the charge, get your money back, refuse the delivery if it in fact does arrive and give your business to someone who deserves it.

I did the same after months of chasing him down. I can’t believe he’s still allowed to have a PayPal account.

Well I disputed the charge and the order was cancelled. This guy truly is a giant POS and horrible business man. Blatant liar.

I wish I had the energy to recount my experience with him, but you said it bud.

The thing I always wonder is how many people over the years just gave up and didn’t feel like dealing with it. How much money has he stolen and gotten away with.

I really don’t even want a guy like that building parts for my truck either. How many corners does he cut? I wish we could post something on his website

I know the guy personally and he's not a POS or blatant liar.

I won't defend him as a business man though, because he has fallen short there.

I'm not saying you're wrong in anything you've said or how you feel, but too many on here have said something bad about the guy and he hasn't been on here at all in a long time, and there are reviews in many places. did you do your research?

you're capable of getting your money back, as are all the other customers, if they did it the smart way....but does that mean resort to insulting someone you don't know as a person or maybe just give a bad business review? I'd say the latter.

I bought a pair of them from him 4 years ago without any issues and installed them myself when my truck had just over 60k miles on it. Truck has almost 120k miles now and they are fine. Just passed state inspection yesterday.

It's a bummer that things didn't work out for some of you.

There are volumes of bad reviews that have been deleted over the years from TW. Mine included, and they were nothing personal or over the line. He outright lied to me. He’s deceitful.

    sounds like opinions to me.

not his fault if stuff is deleted from TW, contact the mods if that's the case. possibly when they delete a vendor they delete all trace, who knows? all we know is he doesn't control that, but nice job blaming him.

    :notsure:
how is he not a blatant liar if he has repeatedly used the same excuse of making a shipping label and actually not shipped the package but said he did while blaming USPS

I did give credit where credit was needed and said his wheel bearings have been great for many many miles I think around 60k maybe more which is why I went through him again but why not just be straight up and say hey I can’t get you the bearings for a few weeks I would have let it go. This run around BS isn’t cool with me

you've actually provided no evidence of any run around BS, nor "excuses" that you are claiming he has made. how can you prove it isn't USPSs fault? you started this thread just all upset that he isn't on this forum anymore like that's the end of the world, and came to random internet users for advice on how to handle the fact you haven't gotten shipping information. instead of just continuing to contact the guy or putting in a paypal request, you take the opinion of others and start calling a guy a blatant liar, a POS, and questioning the quality of his work and what corners he cuts with absolutely no evidence to prove any of what you're claiming.

I said initially, I don't defend his business practices, it seems he falls behind on that stuff.

All I defend is people jumping on the hate train against an individual because of an unsatisfactory dealing with it and then taking personal shots at someone.

If you order something on Amazon Prime and it doesn't actually get there in 2 days do you start taking shots at Jeff Bezos on a personal level? don't think so.

really sounds like you're "giving him credit" on his wheel bearings to me...

His friend is defending him. It’s not an opinion without bias. He’s using a non sequitur to create the fallacy that Bamatoy is his friend, therefore our experiences aren't valid.

We and many people have been lied to by this guy. His PayPal account is a revolving door. He fell from grace years ago and has only gotten worse.

He’s no longer a vendor or a member on TW because of his lack of integrity. Our bad experiences with marionbumper2bumper are valid and important for people to read. He should be avoided. There are honest vendors on TW who deserve our business.

lol ok. I've already said I'm not defending his business practices, just defending the fact of defacing someone personally because you've had a bad experience.

I went on a trip to Moab with him, but that's the only time I've ever actually met him. I just know he's the kind of guy that would help anyone out. I wouldn't say that's "bias"

I never said your experiences aren't worth people reading, or that he shouldn't be avoided, just that he isn't a POS or a blatant liar. Neither of you have proved me wrong, you've only given me your "unbiased" opinions.

He told me three weeks, I didn’t contact for 6. I was in no “Amazon” rush. He continued to lie from Nov to May. I had enough.

There are many people who were trusting and patient that he let down over and over. He’s unreliable, only has excuses, therefore incompetent.
